Sea First Animation – The ocean and our health
One of the major causes of climate change is deforestation. The giant trees in the rainforest are being felled to make way for corn and soy bean plantations, whose harvests go to livestock. At the same time, the ocean is becoming increasingly acidic because of the enormous amount of CO that we are producing. This is killing coral reefs and putting increasing pressure on plankton.

Travelling by public transport instead of by car once in a while helps of course, but the greatest single thing we can do to help the climate is to reduce meat and fish consumption. This not only helps our climate, but helps the ocean and our own health.
