Difference between vegan krill oil and algae oil

What is the difference between Testa DHA + EPA and Testa vegan krill oil?

Testa Vegan Krill Oil DHA & EPA Omega-3 contains two additional active ingredients in addition to DHA and EPA: Astaxanthin and phospholipids. The last two named active substances have the effect of improving absorption into the blood. As this product has two additional active ingredients and therefore a different DHA:EPA ratio per capsule, we recommend taking 2 capsules a day for Vrill. This means that a box of Vegan Krill oil will not last as long as a box of our DHA & EPA algae oil.

What are the benefits of our Vegan Krill Oil Vrill?

1. Aside from providing a high daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids, specifically 280 mg DHA and 160 mg EPA (at the recommended 2-capsule daily dose), Testa Vegan Krill Oil DHA + EPA is also rich in phospholipids and astaxanthin. As a result, the oil is better absorbed by the body.

2. Phospholipids are important building blocks for our cell membranes. The cell membrane is the outer covering of every living cell in our body. All substances entering or leaving the cell must pass through the membrane. Maintaining all of our cell membranes in good condition is therefore essential for good health.

3. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid made by plankton, algae and certain plants, fungi and bacteria to protect themselves from the harmful effects of sunlight and oxygen; the highest concentration of astaxanthin available in nature is found in microalgae. Astaxanthin is a powerful and versatile antioxidant that can protect our cells from external damage even more effectively than vitamin E.
