Why does Testa Omega-3 contain sunflower oil?

There is a small amount of sunflower oil in the capsule (3%) and this is necessary for processing the algae oil.

The sunflower oil Testa Omega-3 uses has a high oleic content (84%) from special hybrids of sunflowers. Therefore, linoleic acid content is much lower (6-9%) than regular sunflower oil.

Per capsule we have 28 mg Omega-6 and 450 mg Omega-3, or a ratio of 1: 16.

  • In krill oil, it is 1:7
  • with sardine oil 1:2.2
  • farmed salmon 1:5
  • and with anjovis oil 1:10.
